General

Where can I workout?

You choose the location for your workouts. All of our trainers are mobile and they come to you at your home, office or condo gym for 60-minute training sessions! We bring all the equipment you need. Depending on where you’re located, we could have trainers with a nearby gym or studio available if you prefer to travel to a trainer.

When can I workout?

Our trainers are available Monday through Sunday, 5 AM to 11 PM. Please note that different trainers have different availabilities. When we connect you with a trainer, we make sure they are available during your preferred training times!

Do I need any equipment?

Nope! Our trainers come with all of the equipment you’ll need for your training sessions. If you have a gym or any equipment available, our trainers will be happy to incorporate it into your routine.

How much space do I need?

Not much space! Our trainers will be able to train you in any space, no matter how small it may seem. They are highly experienced and know how to make the best use of any space given to them. They adapt very quickly to make the most of the surrounding environment.

How do I sign up?

You can get started in minutes, either by messaging us or signing up here. A member of our team will contact you within 24 hours to learn more about you so that we can get you set up with a complimentary trial session.



Preparing for a session

How should I prepare for my workouts?

To make the most of your session time, it’s best to arrive wearing your workout clothes. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated during the training session. We also recommend eating a light snack two hours prior to your session. If you have time, it’s worth starting a light warm up or stretching session before the workout!

Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?

Make sure to have your cell phone on you so our trainers can contact you when they arrive. We also recommend bringing a water bottle and towel. Make sure to come prepared in your workout attire.

Can I train if I’m hurt?

This depends on the severity of your injury, but we definitely recommend informing your trainer prior to the session! They’ll know your body well and whether or not you can train safely without risk of injury.


Our Trainers

What qualifications do your trainers have?

All of our trainers are fully certified and pass our four-stage vetting process! Our trainers hold certifications from the best certifying bodies in the industry. Many even have university degrees from a fitness or kinesiology program. No matter what your goal is, we have an expert for you.

Do your trainers have insurance?

All of our trainers hold a minimum of $1 million in insurance coverage, which covers professional injury liability damage, as well as property damage coverage. We require our trainers to hold an annual liability policy.

How do you screen trainers?

All of our trainers undergo a vigorous four-stage vetting process to ensure we only recruit quality professionals and maintain very high standards. We make sure to choose educated and qualified professionals that we find personable as we understand the importance of building strong rapport. Our vetting process includes a resume review, phone screen, in-person or video interview, and documentation check. Even from there, we monitor trainer performance and client satisfaction rigorously to make sure we keep our quality standards high!

Pricing and Payments

How much do sessions cost?

Our package pricing for 1-on-1, 2-on-1, and 3-on-1 training start at $62, $80, and $96 per session respectively. We have different packages for different fitness journeys! We’ll make sure to go over everything in detail so you can feel comfortable with your package.

How do I pay for a session?

You can either pay for your packages in full, or spread the payments out over the course of your training. Once you decide on which package is the right one for you, we’ll ask for the details of your preferred credit card to get you started.

Do you offer Pay-As-You-Go sessions?

Unfortunately, we don’t! Personal Training isn’t a service where you’d benefit from a lack of commitment. You’d actually be doing yourself a disservice. If you are looking for sessions without commitment, we’d recommend looking at fitness classes. If you want real dedication and real results, personal training is the place to start.

Why can’t I browse through a full list of packages?

We actually used to provide full lists of packages, but there were so many different options that our customers weren’t fully aware of everything available. We decided to educate our consumers on our pricing options. Once we go through everything in detail, we’d be happy to send across a summary for your reference.

Are my card details safe?

You can feel confident that your card details are safe with us. We us Stripe – the industry standard in payment processing.

Does my package renew automatically?

Nope! Unlike other subscriptions, we don’t continue to bill you until we receive your authorization to do so. When your package is complete, you won’t be charged again until you decide to renew.

Do sessions expire?

Your session expire 12 months after the date of purchase. We’re focused and committed to getting you results, and training frequency is one of the most important factors in getting those results. You’ll have more than enough time to get through all of your sessions, but our policy is in place to motivate you to finish up your training sessions!


Cancellation Policy

How do I cancel a scheduled session?

You can cancel a session by letting your trainer know 12 hours or more before your scheduled start time. If you cancel with greater than 12 hours notice, you will not be deducted any session credits on your plan. If you cancel within 12 sessions, your trainer can choose to charge you for the session.

What if a trainer cancels on me?

We have strict policies with respect to trainer cancellations. If you have any issues with trainer cancellations, please email us at hello@fithaus.io to let us know and we will deal with the issue promptly.

What if I want to cancel my commitment to one of your trainers?

If you’d like to move on to a new trainer, feel free to let us know! You can email us at hello@fithaus.io to do so. The matter will be escalated to our operations team right away and we’ll do our best to ensure you are working with a new trainer without having a gap in your scheduled sessions.


Referrals

Do you have a referral scheme?

Yes, we certainly do! If you have a plan with us and refer a friend, you can get up to four free sessions depending on their purchase! You’ll receive one free session if they purchase less than 24 sessions, two free sessions if they purchase between 24 and 47 sessions, three free sessions if they purchase between 48 and 71 sessions, and four free sessions if they purchase 72 or more.

How do I refer a friend?

Either e-mail us indicating you’ve referred someone who is planning to sign up, or have them indicate that you’ve referred them. Once their account is set up, we’ll send you an e-mail to notify you of the additional sessions added to your account.

Do free sessions expire?

Free sessions never expire! They are automatically added to your account and remain there until used by you.
