Flex represents Flexible Training and Pricing. The current landscape in Toronto is plagued by expensive pricing and long-term commitments. Flex is making training a more convenient, transparent and affordable process.
Currently we are only operating in Toronto and will be expanding to the Greater Toronto region shortly. We’re going to be expanding to new cities soon, so sign-up with us and we’ll let you know when we’re in town. You don’t have to worry about us spamming your email.
It’s so easy! All you have to do is select your preferred date, time and location that you want to train. We’ll provide you with a list of certified fitness professionals that are available! View ratings and bios of professionals before making your pick.
Of course, we definitely encourage building a relationship with your trainers! After a session takes place, you can favourite your trainer in order to access their schedule and book sessions at the click of a button. You are in complete control.
Our trainers come to you – that’s the beauty of it. You can work out at home, in a park, or even in your office!
Come prepared ready to break a sweat! All you’ll need is some water to hydrate. Our trainers will come with all the equipment you need.
Our trainers don’t need a lot of space to train you. In many cases, our trainers are interviewed in confined spaces, ensuring that our professionals are capable of providing you with a solid workout despite any limitations in space. If you select a semi-private session, make sure there is sufficient space to comfortably fit in all participants.
We’ve had over 300 applicants apply to our platform, with less than 10% being brought on board. We vet all of the fitness professionals in our network in order to ensure a high standard of quality. Every trainer on our platform is certified, insured and vetted in order to ensure your safety. Our trainers have their profiles and qualifications up to date, so you can find a trainer that’s perfect for you through our app!
Absolutely! All of our trainers are certified, insured and background checked. You can also view ratings of our trainers on the app, as well as their bios.
Nope! Our app is free to download. You just have to pay on a session by session basis for any workout you book. Alternatively, you can purchase a Flex Plan. Refer to our Pricing Page for more details.
All payment is done through the app via Stripe. All you need to do is enter in your credit card details once. When you complete your session, you’ll be charged automatically. No need to bring cash or rush to the ATM. Our trainers receive 80% of session revenues, so there’s no need to tip!
When you book your session on the app, you can select the number of people attending the session. You can invite up to three additional friends for a price of $10 per person. Unfortunately, we currently do not have split payment functionality. Stay tuned though – we’ll be sure to add it soon.
That’s no problem – you can do it directly from the app menu. There is no charge to cancel a session or re-schedule a session as long as the request is made more than three hours before the start of your workout. If a workout is canceled or rescheduled within three hours of the start time of the workout, you will be charged for the session.
If you decide to not show up to a session that has been booked and confirmed by a Flex Pro, you will be charged the full session amount.
Of course! We use Stripe payment processing – the same company that processes payments for companies like Lyft, Twitter, Instacart, and Kickstarter! We do not hold or store your credit card details.
We store your data in accordance with national privacy laws. You can read more about our Privacy Policy on our website or app.
